I’ve been through a lot in my life. A loss of th I’ve been through a lot in my life. A loss of the loved ones, a loss of a homeland, two(and a half) immigrations, miscarriages, my child’s heart surgery... just to name a few of the life “adventures”...

I might look very confident now. But it was not always the case.

I had to learn to love myself.

I’m lucky to have the best man by my side who’ve helped me discover the best, or at least, the normal 😁 of me.

Yes, it took a while. No, you t was not an easy road.

Loving yourself - it sounded so selfish at times...

But It Is Not!

It is not selfish for many reasons. Ethical, religious, physical, mental - I could find at least a couple of good reasons in each of those categories.

Loving yourself is extremely important.

It is not about validating yourself. It is simply about accepting yourself the way you are.

And the way you are is the best way.

You are smart, beautiful, caring, compassionate, complicated, maybe even very complicated.

But that’s the beauty of who you are.

You are unique.

And life is so much better when you love yourself.

What is that one thing that you know you should do What is that one thing that you know you should do to change your life for better?

What stops you from getting there?

If you think again, what do you really think (or know) that stops you?

What one step do you need to make to start the change?

This year has been unique in many senses. It was not easy for many of us.

It was not comforting and for sure challenged many of us in various ways.

Both good and not so good.

I’m happy I was able to keep working out whether at home or in the gym, as it’s been helpful to keep myself sane during these times.

It for sure caused me sleep less as I’m a very light sleeper in general, and my brain just kept spinning with all kinds of thoughts throughout the night.

But.

My one step to make it change for better has been trying to go to bed a little earlier than my “normal”.

I’ve rediscovered that listening to audio books or podcasts is extremely helpful to set my brain for positive vibes.

What is your one thing that you can and want to do to change your life for better?

Who else felt like they needed a short break from Who else felt like they needed a short break from social media during this Black-Friday week?

As much as I support small and big entrepreneurs, I felt like I was bombarded with emails of all sorts and I decided it was time to simply go low profile and enjoy time with my family.

Yes, I’m still guilty of purchasing a few things, but that is only because, as I said, I wanted to support my fav businesses and influencers 😊

And yes, I still need to do some shopping but I still have time. Right? 🤓

“How many meals a day do I need to have? What ab “How many meals a day do I need to have? What about snacks?”

So many of us ask this questions when it comes to weight management and workout plans.

If you know me well enough you can probably guess what my answer to them will be:

It depends.

😁

No two people are the same and their needs are neither the same. What’s good and works for me won’t necessarily work for you.

Do you work a regular schedule or it fluctuates? Do you have breaks for snacks? What are your fitness and health goals?

Sometimes we forget or don’t think to ask those questions.

We are unique and that’s awesome! That makes life so interesting!

We don’t need to compare ourselves and our successes/failures to those of others.

First, because no one is perfect. Second, because those are not failures but rather the life experience.

So, do you like having a breakfast or you prefer having a full meal later in a day?

As much as I like my morning oatmeal (or pancakes if it’s a weekend), if that is something that wouldn’t work for you, than you make it work your way.

You just need to learn to enjoy the process of getting where you want to be.
